we spent about a week in freiburg, a southwestern german city nestled by the black forest (also joe's study abroad location). we ate lots of döners (turkish burritos), did lots of wandern (or "woods-a-bompin" as it was known to my younger self), and just generally romped around the city. it is full of automatic bike tire dispensers and little canals that divert rain water... sorry that the photo is sideways.
